Business analysis team

We serve the Academic Affairs Business and Academic Units by partnering to solve challenges, identify areas for improvement and create business process efficiencies to achieve a better functioning and successful working environment. By doing this, we help Northern Arizona University realize efficient use of resources and foster opportunities for creative thinking in order to promote the enrichment of our students, staff and faculty and drive NAU’s resource model by cutting redundant costs.

Mission

The Academic Affairs Business Analyst team provides Academic Affairs with process and technical analysis and insight to help achieve the objectives of Northern Arizona University’s strategic plan and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in functional operations.

Production Issue

  • Is there a tool you have been using that is not working as you know it to work?
  • Are you no longer able to fulfill your job function?
  • Are you no longer able to serve your students?
  • Is there a critical failure to a system?

An item identified as a ‘Production Issue’ will have a streamline request process. You should anticipate a response within 1 business day.

Work Request

Request assistance to make an update to an existing system/process or envision something brand new within the purview of Academic Affairs.

  • All Work Requests will need to be prioritized at the division level.
  • If the Project is cross-divisional, it may need SPRRC approval.
