Nearly 5,000 faculty, staff, students and community members joined in a campus walk and gathering in the North Quad following the tragic events on Oct. 9. “I believe in this campus and in this community,” said President Rita Cheng. “I know in my heart that the bonds that hold us together will only be strengthened by our learning from and caring for each other in the days and weeks ahead.”
