Professional interests

Dr. Lorie Kroneberger is an Associate Clinical Professor for Northern Arizona University’s Program in Physical Therapy at the Flagstaff Mountain Campus, and has served as Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education since July 2007. Lorie has been a Board Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy since 2008, and her professional experience includes practice in outpatient orthopedic, acute care hospital, skilled nursing unit, home health, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Dr. Kroneberger is actively involved in service with the Arizona Physical Therapy Association through numerous roles.  She has been a District 5 Representative, a reviewer for the past eight years on the CEU Committee, a volunteer website developer, and formed the AZPTA Clinical Education Special Interest Group in 2011. Dr. Kroneberger is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as a trainer for the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program, and as founding Chair of the Clinical Education SIG, she is dedicated to promoting the professional development of the Program’s clinical instructors. Her research interests include collaborative learning and technology in physical therapy education.
