Professional interests
Dr. Foucrier has been an orthopedic physical therapist for 9 years with an interest in treating craniocervical and craniomandibular dysfunctions. He obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Regis University in 2011. He has received training and certification for the treatment of myofascial trigger-points (CMTPT) from Myopain Seminars. Through self-guided studies in 2014, he attained a Board Certified Specialty in Orthopedics (OCS). In 2015, he became an American Institute of Balance Certified Practitioner to evaluate and treat peripheral vestibular dysfunctions. His areas of scholarship interest include the assessment of best practice for managing chronic craniocervical dysfunction, physical therapy as a sustainable medical model within inter-professional practice, as well as the role of physical therapy in community-based health and wellness programs for populations that are at high-risk or that are underserved.
Dr. Foucrier has been a faculty member at Northern Arizona University Department of Athletic Training and Physical Therapy since 2017, is a practicing Physical Therapist at Spooner Physical Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as a Physical Therapy preceptor for NAU’s student-run health and wellness projects at Crossroads Inc.
