Go BIG for Parkinson’s
NAU’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program supports the community
Join us for a walk/run and silent auction to support APDA.
Fundraiser event history
Every year, Northern Arizona University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy students hold a 2k/5k/10k run/walk and silent auction in conjunction with the Arizona division of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA), to raise funding for patients with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in Arizona.
Our students teach local therapeutic Tango courses and hold various clinics for persons with PD throughout the year. Working closely with this population has created a deep desire within our students to help make treatment more available and affordable as a means to help prevent the devastating progression of this disease.
This year will be the 11th Annual Go BIG for Parkinson’s Walk/Run and Silent Auction! Our 2017 event event goal is $15,000.
Please consider supporting the community and our students by either enjoying the events on October 14th, 2017 or by making a financial contribution.
