The NAU Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency staffed by sworn police officers who are certified by the state of Arizona and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Officers patrol campus 24 hours daily.
Nearly 130 blue emergency phones are located across campus, at all main residence hall entrances, and in all elevators. In case of an emergency, users push a button that rings directly to the NAUPD on-campus dispatch center.
This free service sends text messages to your cell phone in case of emergency, including weather-related closures. Additional phone numbers can be added so a friend or family member is notified of an emergency.
