From full workforce reports to quick environmental scans, you’ll find the information you need to stay ahead and ensure your programs align with workforce trends.

Workforce and market analysis

Workforce analysis identifies current and future labor and skills supplies, anticipates future needs in terms of labor, skills, and competencies (demand analysis), and pinpoints gaps between the current and future supply and demand (gap analysis).

Market analysis examines related programs in the region or nationwide and trends in similar programs at NAU, including opportunities for developing and offering micro-credentials.

The combined report includes:

The executive summary outlines career paths for graduates in the field and provides a salary range. It also includes projected market growth.

The recommendations section offers suggestions on how the program could benefit the department and how individuals could be recruited.

The program overview pulls information from NAU’s catalog, such as the program title, potential course delivery options, enrollment numbers, and student distribution across campuses.

The industry outlook provides some potential employment areas and occupations with the degree.

The competitive analysis lists programs closely related to the field. Some of these may be offered as full undergraduate or graduate certificates.
