Connecting NAU students with scholarship opportunities

Some scholarships are awarded automatically to students when they apply to NAU. For other scholarships, there’s ScholarshipUniverse.

ScholarshipUniverse is a dynamic tool that matches you with scholarship opportunities based on your information and need. You can apply for most of them right within the tool itself. No more sifting through endless lists of scholarships to try to find ones you’re eligible for—we’ll bring them to you!

Both NAU’s Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) and NAU Foundation scholarship applications are open for the 2024-25 academic year. Applications close April 15, 2024.

NAU scholarships through ScholarshipUniverse

Many NAU tuition scholarships are automatically awarded based on your FAFSA and other information you submit when you apply. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and the NAU Foundation offer additional scholarships available through ScholarshipUniverse.

In addition to the general NAU scholarships, the following NAU academic colleges’ scholarship applications will be available in ScholarshipUniverse:

  • College of Arts and Letters
  • College of Education
  • College of Health and Human Services
  • College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
  • The W. A. Franke College of Business

Deadlines

Both the OSFA scholarship application as well as the NAU Foundation scholarships open in January and close April 15 each year for the following fall semester.

Note: while NAU scholarship deadlines in ScholarshipUniverse remain consistent, outside organizations and individual academic college application deadlines might vary or take place throughout the year. Read each scholarship opportunity carefully.
