ScholarshipUniverse

The 2023-2024 NAU Scholarships Applications in ScholarshipUniverse will open on January 18th, 2023.

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at Northern Arizona University is excited to introduce ScholarshipUniverse, a scholarship-matching and search portal for prospective and continuing NAU students in which students can research and apply for various internal and external scholarships.

This platform connects NAU students to millions of dollars in scholarships that the University and outside organizations have to offer.

Best of all, you won’t need to find scholarships — the system will match you to your best-fit opportunities.

  • Get answers to questions and match to scholarship opportunities that you are eligible for.
  • Easily apply online to multiple scholarship opportunities through a personalized portal.
  • See scholarship metrics to determine your chances and the effort required to apply.
  • Be alerted whenever you are matched to new scholarship opportunities.
  • Receive automated reminders about outstanding tasks and next steps.

Based on information submitted in their personalized profile, students will be able to review a customized list of scholarship opportunities that they qualify for and directly connect and submit online applications. This platform is intended to reduce “scholarship search fatigue” by bridging students to vetted scholarship opportunities through an adaptive matching engine, which identifies relevant scholarships based on individual student’s personal information, needs, and eligibility. Simply log in, complete a student profile, and let the system do the searching. Students should keep in mind that the database of scholarships can have approximately 10,000 scholarships at any given time, so it’s very important to be specific when creating a profile to ensure that they are getting the most relevant matches.

In addition to the general scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year, the following colleges’ scholarship applications will be available in ScholarshipUniverse:

  • College of Arts and Letters
  • College of Education
  • College of Health and Human Services
  • College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
  • W. A. Franke College of Business
*Deadlines vary per college; please pay attention to upcoming deadlines*
