Lumberjack Scholars Award

Merit-based full-tuition scholarship for Arizona residents

Award amount

  • Covers 100 percent of tuition; does not cover fees or other expenses.

Eligibility criteria

  • Arizona residents only.
  • Selection: Based on the completion and/or in-progress work of the 16 college preparatory (core) courses that are required for admission and a minimum 3.5 core high school GPA, with no letter grade lower than “B” in any of the required core courses. All 16 core courses must be successfully completed by the date of your high school graduation.
  • Course retakes allowed for eligibility toward this award:
    • Two for students beginning in fall 2018.
    • One for students beginning in fall 2019.
    • Retakes completed after the date of your high school graduation will not apply.
  • Multiple awards: This award can be combined with other tuition scholarships as long as it does not exceed the total cost of tuition.
  • Additional general criteria.

Renewal criteria

  • You must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
