Donate and volunteer with NAU Occupational Therapy

Interested in assisting the NAU OTD in its mission of development of occupational therapists? NAU OTD is reliant upon the local and national community in achieving its goals of developing the best in the field. If you are able, please consider assisting us through financial contributions and/or volunteerism.

Financial contribution

Contribute to OT student success

Our program is self-sustaining, meaning that we are not provided public monies. As such, we rely on financial assistance. Please consider donating to our public and non-profit program through the NAU Foundation website.  Scroll down to the “Search all available funds” search bar and type in “occupational therapy” for a list of all NAU OT funds.

Select one of the Occupational Therapy funds listed:

  • NAU Occupational Therapy Mission Fund: Provides support to promote the mission of the Department of Occupational Therapy to serve Arizona communities and promote visibility of the profession.
  • Occupational Therapy Leadership Fellowship: Promotes student participation in extra curricular leadership development opportunities (residency activities may be considered)
  • Occupational Therapy Student Practice – Scholar Grant: Supports conference funds for students to disseminate their scholarly work
  • Occupational Therapy Emerging Practice Technology Fund: Purchase state of the art equipment for instruction and service learning
  • Vitalyst Health Foundation/Occupational Therapy Fund: Supports research on youth aging out of foster care
  • Occupational Therapy Student Support Fund: Aims to financially support NAU OTD students facing unforeseen challenges or emergencies during their academic journey. This fund is in honor of alum, Emily (Burkert) Rocha (Class of 2022).

Thank you for your generosity! Every donation is much appreciated.

Volunteerism

Supporting the next generation of occupational therapists

We welcome individuals who volunteer their time, including occupational therapists interested in serving as fieldwork educators, capstone mentors, or guest lecturers, as well as individuals with conditions being studied by our students. Please contact us by emailing ot.otd@nau.edu
