Undergraduate RN-BSN program
Due to State Boards of Nursing and other legal requirements, we do not accept students into the program that live in AL, TN, or WA, nor are we permitted to allow students to complete the program if they relocate to one of these states.
*For undergraduates, the RN-BSN program is the only available online degree.
4 steps to apply
Step one – apply to Northern Arizona University Accordion Closed
The first step in the admission process is to apply for admission to the university.
Step two – send official transcripts Accordion Closed
Official transcripts from each college or university previously attended must accompany the application for admission. Have your official transcripts sent to:

Upon receipt of the completed application and all official transcripts, the Admissions Office will evaluate your transcripts and determine transfer credits and Foundations/Liberal Study designations.
Note: students that graduated from an accredited Arizona community college RN program are eligible to transfer up to 90 units from a community college.

Upon completion of the NAU application process contact the Online & Statewide Campuses Advising Team, who will connect you with the appropriate adviser.

Step four – Apply to the RN-BSN program Accordion Closed
After you accept your offer to NAU, and have been admitted, complete this online RN-BSN application. The application requires NAU-CAS login credentials that are provided upon acceptance into NAU.
Once in the application please check the appropriate box for either the RN to BSN program, or the “Personalized Learning” BSN program. Your choice must match the NAU program for which you applied for under “Step One.”
For quicker processing of your application please email your unofficial transcripts to docimaging@nau.edu. However, it is important to also submit all of your official transcripts to NAU:

Applicants must maintain a current RN license from the state in which they will be completing the final project-based portions of their nursing curriculum.
For students beginning the online BSN prior to receiving their RN license, a license verification will be required within the first three months of starting your program.
Online graduate admissions
Graduate applications are completed online through the Graduate College and your application is then sent to the School of Nursing. There is no separate nursing application.
