Are there special requirements for nursing programs?

Yes! Applying to NAU is the first step but NAU nursing programs require additional steps. Please visit our undergraduate and graduate nursing application pages for specific information and requirements.

Steps to apply for undergraduate nursing programs

If you’ve fulfilled your pre-professional and liberal studies prerequisites either through Northern Arizona University or another accredited institution, congratulations! You’re now eligible to apply for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs.

 

Steps to apply for graduate nursing programs

To apply to NAU graduate nursing programs, you’ll fill out an online application for the Graduate College. Once submitted, your application will be forwarded to the College of Nursing for evaluation. There’s no need for a separate graduate nursing application.
