Physically Unclonable Function (PUF)-Based Password Generation Scheme

Description

This invention provides a method for authenticating distributed peripherals on a computer network using physically unclonable functions (PUFs). This method does not require a database of passwords that are primary targets for hacking. Instead, reference patterns are generated by an addressable PUF generator (APG), then downloaded in the secure memory of a distributed network.
