FluQuant: a Novel Quantitative Real-Time PCR Assay for Quantifying Influenza Viral Load

Description

The technology is a quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay, quantifying influenza viral load and detecting influenza virus variants that are resistant to antiviral drugs. The assay provides a highly sensitive and specific set of allele-specific PCR assays, characterizing the frequency of mutation for single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) components in influenza virus mixtures across a wide range of DNA concentrations.
