Choral Union Ensembles
NAU Choirs include eight ensembles that are open to all undergraduate and graduate students. Our active schedule includes an annual Choral Union retreat and “Big Sing” in Flagstaff, Fall Festival of Choirs, Holiday Dinner Concerts, Jazz Madrigal Festival, Spring Festival of Choirs, and regional and international tours. We invite you to explore our ensembles and join.
Choral Ensembles & Rehearsals
- Shrine of the Ages Choir: 60-voice select SATB choir (M/W 3:00 – 3:50 and T/TH 2:20 – 3:50), for upper-division music majors and experienced non-music majors
- Vox Montes: tenor/bass choir (MWF 12:40-1:30 pm)
- Vox Astra: soprano/alto choir (MWF 11:30 am – 12:20 pm)
- University Singers: SATB choir (W 7:00-9:30 pm)
- Chamber Singers: select SATB choir for graduate student lecture recitals (spring semester)
Vocal Jazz Ensembles
• Northern Voices: 14-member ensemble (T/Th 12:45 – 2:00 pm)
• High Altitude: 6-8 singers (T/Th 12:45 – 2:00 pm)
Handbell Choir
• Harter Handbell Choir: 14-ringer ensemble (T/TH 4:00-6:00 pm)
