Double Reed Day at NAU

Open to all bassoonists, oboists and music educators.  There will be a $10 charge at registration.

Registration and information

Registration starts at 9:00 AM in the Kitt Recital Hall Atrium with the opening recital at 9:30 in NAU’s Kitt Recital Hall.  You can also save a spot by pre-registering online. The day’s activities will end by 4:00 PM.

RDG Woodwinds John Peterson (oboe repair expert) and Tom Yaeh (Bassoon repair expert) will be presenting sessions on oboe and bassoon repair and woodwind acoustics.

NAU faculty Rebecca Kemper Scarnati, oboe and Kent Moore, bassoon will do master classes on the Arizona and Nevada Regional/Allstate Music and any other music that students may be working on, and help with reed problems.

There will also be a double reed band.
