Social media guidelines and policy

The Lumberjack community is a large online community. Students, faculty, alumni, colleges, and organizations are all voices for #NAU. Through the strategic use of social media, we reinforce who we are and what we’re all about. The NAU Social team oversees the daily content management of the university’s main social media platforms and maintains NAU’s Social Media Directory. To be considered an officially recognized NAU social media outlet, review the guidelines for inclusion and the Social Media Policy and Guidebook.

Looking to leverage the power of social media? NAU Social can help! We’ve been ranked number one in the nation for social media engagement. Give us a call or email social@nau.edu to set up a social media consultation.

Looking to collaborate and get the word out? Submit your content directly to NAU Social. We also provide trainings and offer best practices to help you manage your unit’s social media and ensure the best social media experience for the Lumberjack community.

Looking for help with NAU’s guidelines for online social media content? The Visual Identity Guide will give you direction.
