Course Reserves

Fill out the Request Course Materials form. An electronic version of the course syllabus may also be submitted but is not required. The materials are then located, labeled, and placed in the physical Reserve Collection or electronic versions are sent to you via a stbale URL to add to your course shell.

Does the library own your item electronically?  Simply copy the permalink from our catalog and paste it into your course shell”

Due to copyright laws, electronic materials are not allowed to be used in perpetuity; rather they should be evaluated, modified and or replaced as necessary.  Each semester, please use the request Form to ask for materials to be turned back on by the Reserves staff.

Physical Reserve material may include books owned by the library or your personal copies, kits, study guides, and media.

Electronic copies, and digital materials such as audio and video, will be sent to you as a stable URL link which you may add to your course shell.  We do not advocate for any Library-owned electronic material to be uploaded to BBLearn as a PDF.  Instead, please use the permanent links provided in our databases.  Need help? We do not place periodicals, reference books, microforms, or Interlibrary Loans on reserve.

Cline Library owns thousands of online journals, ebooks and databases. We strongly recommend using permalinks instead of uploading articles, ebooks, etc. to BBlearn or file sharing because:

• Permalinked articles from Cline’s online collections are within Disability Services guidelines.
