Many of you may have accessed the library’s subscription to the Wall Street Journal over the last three years. Because of an increase to the subscription cost, the library moved access to the Wall Street Journal to a new platform, ProQuest. There are numerous benefits to the switch including not needing to create and maintain a separate password. The move to ProQuest results in significant savings and will provide more seamless integration with similar content.
Additionally, other recent acquisitions changes include a move from LexisNexis to Westlaw and HeinOnline. HeinOnline provides access to U.S. treatises, tribal law, case law, constitutions, and journal articles. Westlaw is a resource for legal statutes, briefs, case law and regulations and also includes business news and reports. We recently added a new subscription to ASTM Compass which provides access to engineering standards, borders and migration studies online, which includes, maps, articles, videos, and primary source documents related to thirty key border areas, and access to ScienceDirect ebooks.
