To advance the New Economy Initiative (NEI), NAU is building on existing excellence in allied health programs, focusing on workforce needs, student demand, and high-impact program growth that will directly benefit individuals’ well-being, as well as the statewide economy in Arizona. Throughout FY22, NAU will enroll 80+ additional students in these physical and mental health related fields and upgrade core teaching and learning facilities in support of impactful workforce development.
NAU will continue investments in this critical area of economic, public health, and workforce need for our state in FY23, with an additional 200+ students enrolling next year thanks to program expansions.
NAU will leverage its distinctive excellence and mission of regional service and impact through additional New Economy Initiative proposals in forest health and land management in order to meet Arizona’s needs for workforce development and expertise in these important areas.
