Eligibility and application
Undergraduate students from across the country can apply.
Doris Duke Conservation Scholars are U.S. citizens or DACA recipients enrolled at colleges or universities in the United States or its territories. Applicants enrolled at four-year colleges or universities must be in their 1st or 2nd year, or have at least two years remaining. Students enrolled at two-year community and tribal colleges with intentions to transfer to a four-year institution are also eligible to apply. Please contact our leadership team if you have any questions about eligibility. The program is open to students from any major.
How to apply
The program at Northern Arizona University currently recruits a new cohort of rising university sophomores and juniors every other year, and will next be seeking applicants for a cohort in the Summer of 2020. Applications for this cohort will open in the Fall of 2019.
But Hold On! DON’T GO JUST YET!
To participate in a Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program in the Summer 2019, consider applying to any of our four sister programs hosted at other universities around the country! Applications are currently open! More information about those programs can be found at the DDCF website.
