Thin Clients

A thin client is a new type of computer that is available through ITS. It is smaller, lighter, lasts longer, and requires less power than a normal computer. It will allow for normal computing tasks such as browsing the web, working in the Microsoft Office Suite, or working with NAU specific tools. In this video we will explain what a thin client is, what it does, and what it looks like. If you would like more information or feel that you would be a good candidate for a thin client, please contact the ITS Solution Center at 523-1511.

Power Settings

Your computer's power settings are an easy thing to configure and if set correctly can help your computer last longer and reduce your carbon footprint. This video will show how to adjust your power settings in both the Windows and Mac operating systems and will also discuss some remote desktop alternatives.
