National Cyber Security Awareness Month

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Initially conceived by the United States Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, National Cyber Security Awareness Month has been held during the month of October for the past nine years. Its goal is to bring awareness to the technology based security concerns that are slowly becoming more common in our society.

During this month, NAU’s Information Security team will be hosting a booth at the University Union to answer questions and to provide information about the security topics affecting this campus and its student, faculty, and staff.
