Add Authorized Users to TouchNet

You can use the Authorized Users function in TouchNet to give others (parents, guardians, etc.) the ability to access your account information without allowing them access to your other NAU accounts such as LOUIE, Blackboard Learn, and the MyNAU Portal. With Authorized User Access, these users will be able to view your account information and make payments.

To add or edit Authorized Users, access TouchNet by clicking on make a payment under the Finances section in your LOUIE Student Center.


You will be prompted to go to TouchNet. Make sure your Pop-up Blocker is turned off and you are using one of the supported browsers. Click on the link to be redirected to TouchNet. TouchNet may take several minutes to load. Do not press the back or stop buttons during this process.

Transferring to TouchNet

Once in TouchNet, select Authorized Users under the My Account tab.


On the Authorized Users page, you will be able to view, edit, and delete Current Authorized Users along with Add Authorized Users. Before adding a user, be sure to read the information at the top of the page concerning Authorized Users.

To add an Authorized User, click on Add Authorized User. Fill in the email address of the person you would like to become an Authorized User and select whether or not you would like this person to be able to view your payment history. When you are finished, click Continue.

You will be asked to read and agree to the Authorized User Terms of Agreement. Once you have read through it, check I Agree and Continue. An email will be sent to the address you provided for your user instructing them how to complete setting up their Authorized User account. The Authorized User should immediately appear in your Current Authorized Users list.
