Windows 8 was released in 2012. Windows 8 is a completely redesigned operating system developed from the ground up to better incorporated the use of touch screen technology. Windows 8 has replaced the look of the traditional Windows operating system with a new look and feel, as well as incorporating a few new applications to help support users.
