Center for Native American and Indigenous Futures (CNAIF) room reservation request form
We are currently accepting room reservations at the Center for Native American and Indigenous Futures (CNAIF). The CNAIF is operating under a reduced capacity and the room occupancy has changed in our rooms. The capacity is indicated next to the room selection in the room requested question. Please fill out this form to request a room reservation at the CNAIF.
The CNAIF staff request that all event organizer’s submit their room requests at least one month in advance to the preferred start date.
The CNAIF room reservation fee structure is updated as of January 2023. All associated fees are approved by the NAU Comptroller for the use of facilities in accordance with ABOR policy. There was a departmental decision to suspend fees due to the pandemic during 2020-2022.
We will modify the hours for True Blue Summer Fridays starting May 15 – August 11, 2023 and summer hours will be 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Thursday. No exceptions.
Outside food is prohibited. If you intend to serve food at your event you must work with NAU Campus Dining at 928-523-4981 to purchase and arrange food and drinks for your event. Although the CNAIF does have a complimentary beverage bar, this is supported from donations from the community in support of Indigenous Students as part of the Food Security Program.
In order to park on campus the event organizer will need to purchase Daily Parking Permits from NAU’s University Transit Services at 928-523-6623 or visit their office located at 411 S. Beaver street.
We have a review period of 14 business days, after which you will receive an email from us regarding your request. For certain events the CNAIF staff will request a meeting with the event organizer(s) to ensure a smooth event. However, if you have any questions after submitting your Room Reservation Request form, please email us at CNAIF-rooms@nau.edu. Thank you!
