Entering Mentoring

Are you currently mentoring an undergraduate student in a research-related field?

Entering Mentoring Training is now open to graduate student mentors! This opportunity is an evidence-based, interactive mentor training curriculum that engages mentors in collective problem-solving and connects them with resources to optimize their mentoring practices.

Mentors engage in learning communities through nine modules that include activities, assignments, case studies, and facilitated discussions to solve mentoring dilemmas and share successful mentorship strategies. Entering Mentoring is suited for faculty, staff, graduate students or administrators who are committed to mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. Each cohort is led by NAU colleagues who are Trained Facilitators. Participants are expected to attend all sessions scheduled for their cohort.
