The NAU FBLA-PBL chapter has competed and won numerous awards every year since the NAU chapter was established. The State Leadership Conference is one of the peaks of the organization, and it is held every April in Tempe, AZ at the main Arizona State University campus. Every year students apply and are selected to participate in an Executive Job Shadow. For the 2017/2018 academic school year, 18 students were given the opportunity to work alongside an executive from one of the 13 available companies. On June 1st, two students started their internship with Indigo Partners LLC. Indigo Partners LLC is a private equity and venture capital firm specializing in making investments in acquisitions and growth capital. It was founded in 2002 and is based in Phoenix, Arizona. We spend four years, some more, some less, waking up early for classes or work and staying up all day and night for more classes or work. On April 27, 2018, FCB hosted a scholarship breakfast at the High Country Conference Center to honor donors and recognize students who received a scholarship. The breakfast offered a chance for students to meet their donors and connect with their fellow students.
The breakfast recognized 250 students who received more than $565,000 in scholarships.
