Scholarships & Financing
Generous donors have provided The W. A. Franke College of Business more than $560,000 in scholarships to award in the next academic year. Scholarships may be awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, and/or major.
We are grateful to the donors who have chosen to make a difference in our students’ lives. To follow is a brief description of each of our current scholarships.
Basic Criteria / Application Deadlines Accordion Closed
The next scholarship application period begins in November. This application is for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2021–2022 academic year.
- If you are applying for the FCB MBA program that begins Fall 2021 or you are graduating December 2021, you ARE eligible to apply.
- If you are graduating in Spring 2021 or Summer 2021, you are NOT eligible to apply.
The Scholarship Committee will consider applications only from those students who comply with all of the following basic criteria:
* be a student in the Business Division of FCB (HRM Division scholarships available HERE)
* have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0
The committee will match applicants with the scholarship(s) for which they are most qualified (according to the specific criteria of each scholarship) and make decisions in light of the total information available.

The application opens in November for awards distributed for the next academic year.
Applicants can submit an online application. Please note, this application is both for the NAU Foundation scholarships and for FCB scholarships. Additionally, paper applications are available from The Franke College of Business Dean’s Office (FCB Room 214) for those students who are unable to utilize the web application due to disability.

Google SVA Scholarship, in partnership with Student Veterans of America, provides assistance to student veterans who are pursuing a computer science or computer engineering degree, or a degree in a closely related technical field.
Government Finance Officers Association
National and International Scholarships and Fellowships (NISF) helps students refine their applications and connect to resources in order to be more competitive on the national/international level.
The Tillman Military Scholarship covers direct study-related expenses, including tuition and fees, books and living stipend, for eligible active-duty service members, veterans and military spouses. Students must be pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate degree as a full-time student at a public or private, U.S. based accredited institution.

Bob graduated from Phoenix Union High School receiving a football scholarship to Tulane University until a diving accident ended his football career.
