We are proud to announce the Beta Alpha Psi Delta Upsilon Chapter has received international recognition as a Superior Chapter and an award of $500.
Under the leadership of both Professors Amer and Amer, the Delta Upsilon Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership.

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an honorary financial information fraternity hosted out of The W.A. Franke College of Business. BAP consists of elite members of the accounting, finance, and computer information science majors.
Our chapter, Delta Upsilon, facilitates networking and job opportunities with professionals in the financial information field by both 1) helping students develop their professionalism, technical skills, and soft skills and 2) helping students develop tangible connections with other students, faculty, and professionals through myriad events hosted throughout each semester.
Our mission is to recognize outstanding academic achievements in the field of accounting, finance and information systems; promote the study and practice of professional fields related to these disciplines; provide opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing financial professionals; encourage a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility within a business context.
Flagstaff, AZ – State Farm presented a $20,000 Technology Priority Grant to The W. A. Franke College of Business (FCB) in Flagstaff, Arizona in support of the Information Systems program. This support will help the FCB in purchasing hardware and software, providing students the most current information and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge using state-of-the-art hardware and software.
Galen Collins, Interim Associate Dean, said. “This investment in the Information Systems program in the College of Business will ensure students have the opportunities to advance their skills and knowledge using contemporary technologies. With this support, our students will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools in a secure, protected environment.”

FCB Graduate Earns Top CPA Exam Score Award
Nathaniel Levy (B.S. Accountancy ’17; MBA ’18) earned the 2018 Elijah Watt Sells Award for obtaining a cumulative average score over 95.5 across all four sections of the CPA Exam on the first attempt. Of the nearly 86,000 individuals who sat for the exam in 2018, only 110 candidates met the criteria.
