The School of Forestry’s professors are leaders in the international forestry arena. They have been involved in international forestry activities ranging from professional forestry seminars and tours to active research projects in over 30 countries around the world—all of which means tons of opportunities for you to study internationally.
International field courses
Explore the world and gain hands-on experience with our International Field Courses. Designed to broaden your perspectives and deepen your understanding of global forestry practices, these courses offer unique opportunities to engage with diverse ecosystems and communities. Students may collaborate with international experts, conduct field research, and experience forestry management techniques from around the world. In the past, we have offered forestry programs in Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ghana, and Honduras.

NAU-led programs
