Camp facilities

A serene location for children to learn with NAU’s School of Forestry

The School of Forestry at Northern Arizona University hosts camps for children ages 9-16. The location of the campsite, 15 minutes southwest of Flagstaff, is in the middle of the Coconino National Forest. Campers are surrounded by the largest ponderosa pine forest in the northern U.S. and will have the opportunity to see wildlife during the day and bright stars at night. Campers will enjoy hiking on nature trails, staying in the cabin-like tents, sleeping on cozy pine bunk beds, and socializing around the fire ring in the evening. Our facilities are also available for private rental.
