Alliance Bank Economic Policy Institute
Economic development for Arizona’s tribal & rural communities
By collecting primary data and performing quantitative research, the Alliance Bank Economic Policy Institute encourages Arizona tourism and economic development for tribal and rural communities. In addition, the Institute promotes lifelong learning via the largest Road Scholar provider in the United States.
Our outreach efforts bring financial literacy to our youth and to our state’s developing entrepreneurs. Our events strengthen these efforts as well as provide networking opportunities for the business communities. The Economic Policy Institute team makes this all happen.

About the Alliance Bank Economic Policy Institute
The Alliance Bank Economic Policy Institute was founded in 1999 and was re-invigorated with generous support from Alliance Bank of Arizona in 2012. The EPI serves over 10,000 individuals annually throughout Arizona. Our professional expertise is delivered by our strong, collaborative team.
The ABEPI assists Arizona’s rural, tribal, and northern business communities in their economic development endeavors by delivering training, information, technical assistance, and business support services.
Two entities that came under the umbrella of the ABEPI have roots back to 1985 (The Center for American Economic Development (CAIED)) and 1989 (The Arizona Hospitality Research and Resource Center (AHRRC)).
The NAU Road Scholar program (formerly Elderhostel) was established in 1983.
