The Arizona Attainment Alliance, also known as A++, is a new, first-of-its-kind partnership forged between Northern Arizona University, the Arizona Commerce Authority, and all 10 Arizona community college districts. The program launched in 2022.

Harnessing the power of collaboration

This unique partnership aims to harness the collective impact of distinct institutions based on a shared desire to dramatically boost Arizona’s postsecondary attainment rate. Working together, A++ partners will:

increase the immediate college-going rate of Arizona high school students
service a growing number of adults who have some college credits but no degree
grow progression and graduation rates
increase the postgraduation value of earned credentials

Facilitating Arizona’s growth through career education

Through the collective strength of our partners, A++ will deliver cross-institutional approaches to enrollment and degree completion that maximize:

access and attainment
strategies to strengthen the education-to-career journey, including common approaches to academic and career advisement
optimized, career-driven academic pathways across A++ institutions
design specifications for shared technologies and data services that facilitate student success and postgraduate outcomes
