CSTL Knowledge Manager VISTA
Science & Health Bldg. (#36), Rm. 534
B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, The University of Arizona, 2017
I am creating a database of the CSTL’s programs and how they were used to help with future efforts to help get members of underrepresented groups into STEM fields. My current position is a one-year contract as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) as part of the Flagstaff STEM Education Project. The VISTA program’s mission is to eliminate poverty in the United States, for which education is key.
After I finish with AmeriCorps, I plan on either working as a materials engineer or attending graduate school. I believe I would like to eventually get into materials research and development.
I am from Tucson, Arizona, where I studied materials engineering at the University of Arizona. My hobbies include epee fencing, reading, and knitting.
