Master of Science in Clinical Speech Language Pathology

Pursue your graduate degree at NAU to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP). Northern Arizona University offers multiple in-person paths to becoming an SLP. Learn more about our graduate program.

Full-time track Accordion Closed

If your undergraduate degree is in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), we invite you to pursue your MS in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology through the two-year full-time track.

  • Program duration: Six terms
  • Availability: Flagstaff

Part-time summer track Accordion Closed

Our three year, two month, part-time summer track is for working professionals, including SLPAs or the equivalent in your state.

  • Program duration: 4 full-time summer terms + 4-5 part-time fall/spring terms
  • Availability: Flagstaff or Yuma
  • Course sequence

Eligibility | Must be working at least 20 hours per week as an SLPA or the equivalent in your state.

Accelerated BS to MS track Accordion Closed

The Accelerated BS to MS in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology is designed to encourage distinguished NAU CSD undergraduates to continue their pursuit of an advanced degree at NAU. Eligible students begin their Master’s degree in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology while simultaneously completing their Bachelor’s degree in CSD; the remainder of the program takes place over five terms.

  • Program duration: Five terms
  • Availability: Flagstaff

Eligibility | This program is only open to current NAU CSD undergraduate students.
