Dr. Judith King has served as a professor, advisor and mentor to literally thousands of students across her 35 + year career at Northern Arizona University.  Dr. King’s clinical and research interests include the areas of voice, fluency, transgender communication, early intervention and increasing the number, diversity and cultural competence of the ASHA membership.  Dr. King is a member of several of ASHA’s Special Interest Groups, including but not limited to Fluency, Voice and Craniofacial/Velopharyngeal Disorders, Cultural/Linguistic Diversity and Administration/Supervision.  Dr. King is also LSVT™ certified for the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease.
