Jeff Meeks, EdD CCC-SLP is an assistant clinical professor and SLPA Certificate Coordinator at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Meeks primarily teaches undergraduate courses to prepare students for careers as speech-language pathology assistants (SLPA). He regularly presents at conferences on SLPA issues, ethics, behavior management and other professional issues. Dr. Meeks has worked as a speech-language pathologist in school and medical settings in addition to an administrative role as a director of special education. He has served in many local, state, and national leadership and service roles including president of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ArSHA), chair of the ArSHA government affairs committee, and member of the school finance committee for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He is the author of Behavior Management for Speech Pathologists: Theory and Clinical Application published by Great River Learning.
