Updates, resources, and information regarding COVID-19

NAU’s campus in Flagstaff remains open and operational and NAU employees will continue to perform their job duties. NAU leadership is following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal and state agencies to help protect the health and safety of the NAU community, implement recommendations, and evaluate options on how to best manage the numerous complex aspects of the COVID-19 response. This page provides information and links to additional resources to help NAU staff navigate this fluid situation.

  • Outlook can be accessed from any web browser at
  • Keep your location or work status updated.
  • Stay connected with your colleagues by using the available video conferencing tools.
  • Download Office 365 on up to 5 devices so you can access Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more from anywhere.
  • Utilize Skype for Business for call forwarding

      • Please note: If you decide to set-up Skype call forwarding to your mobile device, it will disclose your personal phone number.

Tips & reminders

  • Big news stories where misinformation can spread tend to spark new phishing and other scams – don’t click links or open attachments
  • Regularly install and apply computer updates
  • Enroll in Two-Step Verification
  • If using your home computer, limit kids playing games or family members browsing sites and social media
  • Install and update trusted anti-virus software
  • Do not store university data on a personal computer – use the NAU network shares
  • Avoid using email for sensitive information or data
