Welcome to Commencement 2024

We’re excited to have you in Lumberjack country for Commencement. Our website provides all you need to know in preparation for your visit, including how to get to NAU, ceremony times, photo purchases, and more.

Cheer on your NAU grad

On October 28, Fall 2024 graduating students will receive more information about the process to request tickets. Tickets are required for all guests 4 years or older. Graduating students do not need a ticket – they will show their GradPass (received upon completion of their RSVP form) for entry.

Students will initially be able to request up to (4) tickets for their guests. After every graduating student has the opportunity to receive their (4) guaranteed tickets, additional tickets will be available to request. For any special requests or questions about requesting more tickets, please email Commencement@nau.edu.

Celebrating this milestone

Doors to the Skydome open 90 minutes prior to each commencement ceremony, and parking will be available at multiple locations across campus with free shuttle service to and from designated parking lots. Early arrival is key to finding good parking and seating. Seating for your graduate will be “east seating” or “west seating.” Please note you may not bring air horns, balloons or large signs to the Skydome that may disturb or block others who are viewing the ceremony.
