Painting the Minds of Children
Due to COVID-19, our Occupational Therapy students have had limited opportunities for hands on engagement with their community in order to further develop their professional skills. The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is working to help out by providing creative opportunities for professional development during the ongoing pandemic. The Painting the Minds of Children project allows our OT students to work with children in foster homes and create art projects for an annual art show.
This fundraiser is open until February 14th, meaning there are approximately 12 days left. The goal is to raise $2,500, and we are over halfway there! If you have time, sharing the fundraiser or even donating would help out greatly. Click here to head over to the crowdfunding page to check it out!
