Coursework will focus on STEM graduate career paths via a “Pathways Speaker Seminar Series,” professional development, and developing a scientific identity. Each semester, students will meet weekly in a course that facilitates their development as a scientist.
MITSI Fellows receive a graduate stipend, health insurance, and full tuition waivers. There is also support for conference travel, family events, and research expenses.
MITSI Fellows will have mentorship teams including program and research mentors, peers, and family members. We will work closely with each fellow to facilitate your growth as a scientist.
Coursework will be led by Drs. Antoninka and Propper, with major goals being success in graduate studies and research, developing scientific identities, and preparing for next steps, including PhD programs and careers.
