Parking and accessibility

Parking on campus

The NAU College of Arts and Letters welcomes campus and community members alike to its public events, and partners with University Transit Services to provide parking options.

Parking garages and kiosks

Year-round, a vehicle must have a valid permit to park on campus. To obtain a day permit, you can pay a small fee at one of the parking garages or purchase a day permit for designated lots at a kiosk on campus (see map).

There are a number of parking options provided to our campus visitors. If needed after parking, you can take one of our many campus shuttles to reach your destination.

Guest parking and evening permits

Some events are designated as guest parking with a permit for community members. All other events require that you purchase an evening permit Monday through Thursday.

To qualify for weeknight event parking permits, you must register with University Transit Services online:

  1. Create a guest account for designated free parking.
  2. Verify you are not already affiliated with NAU.
  3. After completing this one-time registration, you will be able to print a complimentary evening parking permit at home for each designated event. This permit must be displayed on your vehicle dashboard while parked for the event.

Accessibility

All of the university’s facilities are ADA accessible. If you will need related accommodations, please contact Disability Resources.

We suggest contacting Disability Resources 48 hours prior to your event as some accommodations may take a reasonable time frame to arrange. For special need requests, please make arrangements at the time of your ticket purchase at the Central Ticket Office.
