Tropical Trees: Climate Change Affects Us All
The English Department and the College of Arts and Letters are so excited to work with the College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences to bring Dr. Martijn Slot to NAU for a talk about climate change and tropical trees.
Climate change affects us all and we in the humanities believe that our connections to the natural world are vital to our survival and our future! Science and the humanities go hand in hand – we are all connected, and we are inspired by the world around us: we engage in these disciplines to celebrate the world, definitely to understand it, and hopefully to change it for the better. We invite the Flagstaff community, NAU faculty, staff, and students to come listen to Dr. Slot speak and be inspired.
The event will be held Tuesday, October 15 at 5 p.m. in the Science and Health Building, room 106. Coffee and cookies will be provided by the English Department.
