The NAU Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research oversees all research conducted by faculty, staff, and students that involves living human beings as participants in a study.

To apply for IRB review, go to IRBNet and register as a New User.
Take the required IRB training. The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). If you have not completed this training within the past three (3) years, take it BEFORE submitting you IRB application.
