Information session
I started my teaching career as a substitute. I already had my bachelor’s degree, but it was in journalism. When looking at options to pursue a full-time certificate, it was not feasible for my family to pay the cost of a master’s degree. When I found out about the ATA, it was a no-brainer! The state pays, I pay them back with years of service, I get to teach full-time, and my school gets a teacher that is willing and eager to be there every day.–Whitney
