Welcome to our undergraduate nursing community. NAU offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees for both pre- and post-licensure students, with traditional, online, and accelerated options. We promote excellence in nursing education and practice by supplementing academic curriculum with emerging healthcare trends in our state-of-the-art facilities. Our bachelor’s degrees are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and will prepare you for a fulfilling career as a registered nurse (RN).

Pre-licensure BSN programs
Traditional BSN
Traditional university track with nursing courses taken in sequence over the final five semesters. You’ll be eligible to take the national licensing exam to become a registered nurse (NCLEX-RN).
The traditional BSN is also available through our Compressed Program, which lets you complete the nursing requirements in 16 months.
American Indian Program
Leading to the traditional BSN, this is the first reservation-based entry-level nursing program giving priority to Native American students who are members of federally recognized tribes.
Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP)
If you prefer to start with an associate (AAS) degree in nursing, the CEP and mid-AAS options are a pathway to earn the traditional BSN simultaneously.
Accelerated BSN
If you already have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college, the Accelerated Option prepares you for the licensing exam in 12 months.
Post-licensure RN to BSN programs
BSN – Option for Registered Nurses
RNs who already graduated from an accredited associate-level nursing program are eligible to apply for the all-online Option for Registered Nurses degree, following a traditional semester schedule.
