The Minority Health and Health Disparities International Research Training Program (MHIRT) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) is designed to give students from health disparity backgrounds an opportunity to participate in a 10-week international research experience which explores issues of health disparities among the world’s Indigenous populations. During the experience, students will learn how to apply current scientific literature to research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation, in an exciting foreign environment.

The application cycle for the 2018 NAU MHIRT Program is now closed.
