Amanda Hunter, postdoctoral fellow with the Center for Health Equity Research (CHER) at Northern Arizona University, recently published an article on culturally responsive schooling in the Journal of Indigenous Early Childhood Education with Mary Jo Tippeconnic Fox, research professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Arizona College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.
Titled “Strengthening the Link between Education Policy, Culturally Responsive Schooling, and American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Health,” the purpose of the article is to “explore the relationship between federal education policy, Culturally Relevant Schooling, and AI/AN health.”
