Maternal and child health focuses on the health of women, infants, and children, addressing issues such as prenatal care, infant mortality, and child development.

Center for Health Equity Research’s (CHER) role

CHER is dedicated to improving maternal and child health outcomes through research and community initiatives. We work to eliminate health disparities by promoting access to quality healthcare, providing education and support, and advocating for policies that protect and enhance the health of mothers and children.
